		<description>Interesting, considering I just returned from hearing Lon Safko, author of The Social Media Bible, expound upon the strategic importance of the blog.

Certainly the role of the blog has evolved in the past five years but it is not obsolete.  I believe  it is important to provide information in multiple media.  Some people prefer to read, some prefer to watch a video.  And as a result I&#039;ve created TWO blogs, one that is mostly text and a second that is mostly video.

While video is usually more compelling, keep in mind that studies show the human brain can absorb information via reading at a rate ten times faster than watching/listening to a video.</description>
